Create the workspace
Workspaces come with the Team plan. Once you're on it, click Create workspace in the sidebar, enter a Workspace name and click Create workspace again.
Invite someone
Admins can invite. Open Manage members, enter the person's Email, pick a Role, and click Send invite.
They get an email with a link. The link works for 7 days.
Seats
A workspace has 3 seats, and that includes you. Invites that are still open take a seat too. Workspace full? Remove a member to free a seat.
What joining gets them
Members get Team features while they're in the workspace, even if they pay for a smaller plan or none at all:
- Their channels sync every hour.
- Their tracked channels count toward the workspace's shared pool. See The shared channel pool.
- Email notifications and the digest.
Credits stay personal. Members spend their own, not the owner's.
If they leave, or the owner's Team plan ends, they go back to their own plan.
